It’s not brown wood. That’s a good thing. One of our mentors, a former employer and big deal in the design world, taught us to avoid using all brown wood furniture. We can’t name names, but she called the typical floor plans of most rooms, BBF = Big Brown Furniture. Must avoid. Sure, some things must be brown. But go for the interesting mix when you can. That’s why we were so excited when we found this at Pier 1.
